Spread over 67 acres, CityCenter replaces the strip malls and dated motels once lining the gap between Bellagio and Monte Carlo. Almost four years in the making, it encompasses hotels, private residences, retail and entertainment, a fine-art collection, tram and those five unique fountains.

The National Association of Elevator Contractors will host its 59th Annual Convention and Exposition at the Gaylord Texan Resort Convention Center in Grapevine (Dallas), Texas, September 9-12, 2008. The highlight of this event will be a two-day trade show, September 11th & 12th, for contractors, field personnel, consultants, inspectors, building managers, architects and engineers. This event is the largest of its kind in North American devoted exclusively to the needs of the vertical transportation industry both in the commercial and accessibility/residential trade. The show will highlight over 175 exhibitors occupying over 140,000 square feet of space

Southlake, Texas - Eklund's, provider of total elevator cab solutions, recently introduced their new web-based interactive design tool, the Custom Cab Designer. This exciting new tool created specifically for architects, industry consultants and elevator contractors, allows selection visualization within a simulated 3D design environment. Designed to provide a custom appearance to a standard, pre-engineered cab, the Custom Cab Designer can be used to specify either new cab or renovation projects.
